Shorts and Netting

Why?

Why put netting in shorts? It makes them about 1000x more uncomfortable.

I think it stops the outer bit riding up into your crotch...which would be *much* more uncomfortable.

Also, if you're a bloke, holds your bits in place ;-)

well EdEd reckons running without the netting would be agony - but he's a briefs not boxers man - i guess it's just if you like it all hanging out or not? Obviously you're a hang loose kind of guy Tommy!
